Q: What is MNP?
A: MNP stands for Mobile Network Portability and it allows you and any of your friends or family members using services of other cellular operators to move to your favourite cellular service provider carrying the same Mobile numbers i-e mobile network change without change of your mobile number.

Mobile Network Portability Process for Zong

• Write MNP in sms and send it to 667 for verifying the ownership of your number.
• Now use the Name, CNIC and SIM No. (ICCID) received in the SMS from 667 in response pf your SMS for MNP booking.

Mobile Network Portability Process for Ufone

Now to shift from all other networks to the ufone network process is very smooth & easy just dial 033-12361236. Previously Customers of any other mobile operators (Mobilink, Telenor, Warid, Paktel, Instaphone) wanting to convert their connection in Ufone network/services will be required to visit the nearest Ufone Sales Service Centers or Ufone Franchise Centers.

Process for Mobile Network Portability on Ufone:

The port in request form is to be filled by you giving out the mobile number, name, CNIC/NIC/passport # & SIM number. In addition to port in request form , you will be required to fill in CSAF just like it is done for new sales as per the product opted prepaid or postpaid followed by payment of security deposit in case of postpaid as per tariff plan. For prepaid port-in sales there will be no other charges except porting. There will be no payment of tax required in case of port-in sales.
